That is our passion in the Worship Ministry, and we invite you to join us! We are committed to growing our hearts towards God, and by example, teaching our congregation the importance of worshiping the Father in truth and in spirit. Music, whether vocal or instrumental, is our vehicle to achieve this goal. If you have an interest in music and you sense that this is the place to serve, please don't hesitate to jump right in. A major part of our ability to worship our Lord with music involves learning to do so at an early age. The Baptist Church at Andover offers opportunities for musical involvement to children and students of all ages. Our preschoolers and elementary age children participate in age-appropriate choirs, musicals, and drama events. Whether it’s hand bells, drama, singing, or playing an instrument, if children or students are interested in music and worship, they will like the choices they find in our children and student choir programs.
A great opportunity in the area of Student Music is the youth vocal ensemble which sing here at BCA as well as for other churches and community events. A student rhythm section including bass, guitar, drums and keyboard will accompany the vocal ensemble. Please be a part of this dynamic group leading worship on Wednesdays and Sundays.
The Media Ministry of the Baptist Church at Andover is working to spread the gospel message to "Jerusalem, Judea and all the world." As modern day scribes, we are preparing to work through media such as television, radio and even live internet streaming to make the message of hope available to our church family, and the world!
